The kids love trains. So today we drove over to Laona for a little ride on the Camp 5 Lumberjack Museum. Luckily I brought with me their train caps from their Day out with Thomas in June.
The first time the whistle of our steam engine ride blew, Wes was a little nervous, but he got over it really well.
After about a twenty minute train ride, we exited our train and began to explore the museum.
We spent about an hour exploring the train equipment, animals and play area before heading back to our starting point on another train. For the ride back we decided to take the caboose. It had places where people could sleep and a second level where people could sit. Unlike our trip there, the caboose did not have nice covered seats with cushions. It was covered in painted wood.
