The cottage we rented was located on Bear Lake in Lakewood, WI. It had a great sandy swim area, excellent huge flat back yard, four cozy bedrooms, lake, fire pit, deck and more. We arrived around 3pm yesterday and quickly settled in. The kids also found the lake and swim area where they cooled off from the hot weather. Later there was an appearance by Uncle Greg and we made plans for today.
This afternoon, Greg and Sonja came by with their guests, Sawyer, Hazel, Erin, and Eli. We all cooled off in the water a bit. Jon and Kay put together a rope with a noodle on it so that we could rope off a boundary for the kids swim area. Jon, Kay, and I all have already jumped in to help Wes, whose feet get out from under him and he has trouble getting them back under.
