This is a terrible photo of Alivya, but it does tell the story about how much the kids have grown since last fall. Last year, the kids were very weary of going down the slides. They did it once in a while, but generally preferred to avoid them. This year, they LOVE the slides. They vigorously climb the various ladders, slide down without hesitation, and go back for more. It amazes me. This is probably what I love best about parenting. Watching one's children grow and learn, and develop is simply incredible.
